Acquisitions Librarian, Linux System Administrator, and Financial Services Manager.

Acquisitions Librarian – PVL# 88306
The University of Wisconsin Madison General Library System (GLS) is seeking a dynamic, team oriented individual to manage monographic acquisitions services under the direction of the Assistant Director for Licensing and Acquisitions Services. The Acquisitions Librarian is responsible for the acquisition of monographic library resources in all languages and formats acquired from every area of the world. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with other managers in the department as well as colleagues in all areas of the GLS.

Linux System Administrator – PVL# 88303
The Library Systems Administrator is an innovative and service-oriented professional who will work with our Library Technology Group, Shared Development Group, and Systems teams to facilitate the efficient development and delivery of Library services by designing and maintaining tools, workflows, and standards to manage the Library IT infrastructure. The primary focus will be in the areas of continuous integration, configuration management, and the operations toolchain.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service, a drive to continuously learn, a preference for working in a team, and exemplary attention to detail. This position will work within our systems team to ensure that the Library Technology Group is providing the highest level of service to library staff and patrons.

Financial Services Manager – PVL# 88309
The Financial Services Manager operates under the general supervision of the Associate Director for Administration and is responsible for the supervision of 3 full time University staff and the overall direction of financial services for the General Library System (GLS). The GLS Business Services Office is responsible for budget accounting, invoicing, cash deposits, purchasing, administration of the divisions procurement card program, foundation funds, travel9E-reimbursement), and gift and grant management functions. This position will have signature authority for all financial transactions and the position performs exact accounting, record keeping and analytical services for the GLS and is responsible and accountable for proper controls and accuracy of each transaction. This position requires a thorough knowledge of university, GLS, state, federal and donor rules and regulations in the maintenance, reconciliation, budgeting and analysis of accounts. This position develops policies and procedures, trains, provides advice, interprets rules, regulations and policies and guidelines to staff.
