Job Description: The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans has an immediate opening for a full-time Information/Research Specialist. As a member of the specialist team, your duties will include: researching and responding to questions on employee benefit topics from individual association members and staff using Information Center/Library and online resources, tracking legislation and regulations, selecting timely and relevant news items for a daily e-newsletter and analyzing and summarizing benefits information to post on our website.

Three to four years of experience in employee benefits or in a relevant special library/information center is required. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a course of study relevant to employee benefits or a Master’s degree in library and information studies. A Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation is preferred. The candidate should enjoy being a subject matter expert, have excellent communication (both written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills and work well in a hands-on, fast paced environment.
