Job Requirements:
Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.

Ability to communicate in Arabic and preferably Persian and Turkish languages.

Knowledge of library acquisitions and cataloging rules, practices, and procedures.

Ability to use integrated library systems, applications, and/or other information technologies.

Knowledge of the culture and/or civilization of Middle Eastern and North African countries.

Ability to communicate in writing.

Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
