Mclean/Arlington, VA: Intelligence Research Specialists – Bureau of Diplomatic Security

The Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DSS), Office of Investigations and Counterintelligence (ICI) provides defensive counterintelligence measures and coordinates support to offices around the world on issues that may have a counterintelligence nexus, to include briefings to domestic and overseas offices.

These temporary, full-time non-status positions are for one year and renewable for up to four years. You will serve in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security Services (DSS), Directorate for Domestic Operations, Office of Investigations and Counterintelligence’s (ICI) Visa and Passport Analysis Unit (VPAU) in Rosslyn, VA.

As an Intelligence Research Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to research, collect, organize and analyze the most complex, difficult or strategic intelligence data dealing with suspected fraud in the illegal use of the U.S consular issued travel documents.
