Lake Geneva, WI: Library Assitant I – Circulation Services, Lake Geneva Public Library

The Lake Geneva Public Library is looking for an individual to assist people of all ages in a busy environment. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, flexible, hardworking, and dependable. Computer savvy, good communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize work are required. Applicants must be wiling to learn, apply new technology, and work both independently and as a team player. Familiarity with libraries is a plus.

Candidate must be attentive to details. Under supervision, library assistant performs customer service which includes check-in and check-out of library materials, registration of customers, processing of fines and fee transactions, answering the phone, and shelving library materials. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to move and think quickly. High school diploma is required.

Candidate should be flexible to work up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday including at least one evening per week, and Saturday rotation.
