The University of Nevada, Reno seeks an Instructional Services Librarian who will lead the library’s efforts to integrate information literacy into the curriculum. This tenure-track faculty position will also develop effective e-learning materials and will help to extend library support for online learners. The incumbent will collaborate with faculty to meet information literacy and other curricular objectives, and to design and implement instructional approaches that promote active learning in both in-person and virtual environments. The position will deliver library instruction in a variety of settings and for a variety of levels, including library instruction for Core Writing classes; participate in and extend library outreach and assessment initiatives; build sustainable partnerships with campus programs and initiatives that support teaching and learning; serve as a liaison librarian to one or more departments; serve as a resource for liaison librarians about instructional methods and technologies; and develop and extend the library’s e-learning initiatives.
