Librarian – Project Position

Position Summary:
This position coordinates and oversees the digitization of historic Wisconsin newspaper microfilm. This is a full-time, National Endowment for the Humanities grant-funded, professional project position, classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The position is funded for 4 months with the likelihood of renewal.

Special Notes:
A criminal background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment to determine if the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job.

Qualifications:   Qualified candidates will have experience in all three of the following areas:

1. Metadata Standards

2. National Digital Newspaper Program Experience

3. Digital Newspaper and Microfilm Project Management
