The Burlington Public Library is accepting applications for a library reference assistant. We are seeking an assistant to provide reference and reader’s advisory service to library patrons and assist with programs and projects.

Burlington Public Library is located in southeastern Wisconsin, with a municipal population of 10,500 and a service population of 19,000. We are a member of Lakeshores Library System, serving Racine and Walworth Counties.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or significant college coursework preferred; computer and electronic resource experience required; customer service experience preferred; experience in libraries desired.

Compensation: Starting wage $12.00.

Hours: 12-15 hours per week, including regular evenings and weekends.
