The Archivist for Architectural Records at Ball State University Libraries will collaborate with a dynamic community of engaged librarians, archivists, faculty, students, and working architects to support impactful learning, scholarship, and professional work at Ball State University and in the Indiana architecture community. The Libraries’ Drawings and Documents Archive is a special collection of the Ball State University Libraries Archives and Special Collections and provides scholars access to over 120,000 original architectural drawings, landscape plans, blueprints, photographs, models, and building remnants documenting the history of Indiana’s built environment. The University Libraries generously support digital initiatives and innovative projects that advance the visibility, discoverability, and impact of its collections and services, and over 30 open access archival collections from the Libraries’ Drawings and Documents Archive are available through the

Madison, WI; Processing Archivist, UW-Madison Archives

Under the supervision of the Director of Archives and Records Management, the Processing Archivist is the primary technical services position for university archives, specializing in archival arrangement and description. This position will work on new and existing collections in a wide variety of media formats. The Processing Archivist will advise on workflow improvement, policy-setting, and technologies and tools related to archival arrangement and description. They will assist with reference and outreach activities in collaboration with colleagues in archives and the UW Libraries.
