We are looking for an outgoing, friendly librarian who excels at customer service! This organized, flexible person is needed to supervise clerks, shelvers, and volunteers at a busy circulation desk. Must be able to develop internal protocols and implement procedures as required by LINK consortium. Must be able to attend to numerous details while keeping big-picture reasons for what we do at the forefront of all interactions with customers and staff. Additional components of position include collection development and Help Desk responsibilities (aprox. 25 or more hours a week). Must like working with the public, especially the after school crowd.
Some evenings and weekends. An MLS preferred.
Some supervisory experience preferred, although recent graduates welcome to apply.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) Library in Columbus, Ohio seeks candidates for the position of .5 FTE Reference/EBM Librarian (20 hours per week). Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of the largest and most progressive pediatric hospitals in the country. The hospital is the pediatric teaching arm of the Ohio State University. The NCH Library is affiliated with The OSU Health Sciences Library. This is a part-time position reporting to the Manager of the Library. Hours are flexible and may consist of a combination of mornings and afternoons. A minimum of two years of health sciences library experience is required. Familiarity with evidence-based medicine concepts is highly desirable, as this position interacts daily with residents and nurses engaged in EBM/EBP activities.
