Nevada State College invites applications for an Instructional Design Librarian (Nursing and STEM). This position reports to the Director of Library Services and will join the College during an exciting period of growth and development.
The Instructional Design Librarian provides leadership for the integration of scalable and sustainable information literacy initiatives into the curriculum of the School of Nursing and the Department of Physical & Life Sciences.

Description: The North Shore Library is seeking a customer focused MILS Librarian to work at the Adult Reference Desk. This position works under the supervision of the Head of Adult Services and the Head of Reference and Technical Services. The main duties include providing friendly quality reference, reader’s advisory and technical service to patrons of all ages, cataloging and maintaining the magazine collection, teaching technology classes, collection development and creating library displays.
This position is 24 hours per week and includes every other Saturday. This position requires a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. Prior experience working in a public library at the Reference Desk or other customer service experience is preferred. Beginning librarians and candidates nearing completion of their MLIS degree are welcome to apply.

for identifying and interpreting user needs; providing direct library services to customers of all ages such as reference, readers’ advisory, technology training and assistance. Additionally, this position is responsible for collection of all Adult Fiction and technology management. The Head of Adult services directly supervises the part-time Adult Reference Librarian.

The MUSC Libraries seeks a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Research and Education Informationist. The Research and Education Informationist will provide education and research support services to teaching, clinical, and research faculty and health professions students. The Informationist will actively serve as liaison to the undergraduate programs in the College of Nursing and select programs in the College of Health Professions. This position reports to the Associate Director of Libraries and will work in a flexible, team-oriented, highly collaborative environment. A broad scope of work and activities are within this position, including expert search services, teaching and education, research consultations, and community engagement to MUSC students, faculty, and staff in the health sciences. The University of Florida, George A. Smathers Libraries seek a creative and service-oriented Social Media Specialist to develop and implement the George A. Smathers Libraries’ social media presence, including working in partnership with lead representatives of all accounts representing the Libraries. The Social Media Specialist serves as the primary content creator for the overall Libraries accounts, actively posts to these accounts, interacts with members of the public via social media platforms and analyzes engagement. The Social Media Specialist also designs and delivers training to the Libraries social media account leads. This is a part-time (.5 FTE) exempt-level professional position.
