SWITCH is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization set up in the late 1980’s by participating private colleges in the Milwaukee area currently consisting of the following eight academic libraries: Alverno College, Cardinal Stritch University, Concordia University, Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Mount Mary University, Sacred Heart Seminary & School of Theology, Saint Francis de Sales Seminary, and, Wisconsin Lutheran College. Its purpose is to help advance the effective implementation of library-related information technology and facilitate cooperative ventures between its member libraries.

POSITION TITLE: Consortium Coordinator

SUMMARY:
The Consortium Coordinator has responsibilities relative to the following: provides general guidance and oversight to consortium activities; vision to potential consortium opportunities; representation on SWITCH boards and committees; provides overall direction to programs that foster learning and communication for staff across the consortium; acts as mentor and consultant to member libraries’ staff in their development and use of SWITCH library-related information technologies such as Alma/Primo, etc.; and, assists with consortium systems design and management duties.
